„Die Ukraine wird verwüstet, der Westen kämpft um eine geeignete Fortsetzung: Das zweite Kriegsjahr darf beginnen“ (GS 1-23)
Nach einem Jahr Krieg in der Ukraine sieht das Land entsprechend aus.
Zu Beginn des letzten Quartals sind zum bisherigen Zerstörungswerk der beiden Seiten flächendeckende russische Raketen- und Drohnenangriffe auf die ukrainische Infrastruktur dazugekommen. Sie zielen auf die Kampf- und Widerstandsfähigkeit der Ukraine und treffen oft genug, um die Bewohnbarkeit etlicher Teile des Landes, die Funktionsfähigkeit seiner Ökonomie wie seiner Herrschaft infrage zu stellen.
Am Kriegsziel der ukrainischen Regierung hat sich trotz alledem nichts geändert: Die vollständige territoriale Integrität des Landes, die Rückeroberung aller von Russland annektierten und besetzten Gebiete inklusive der Krim bleibt das heilige Recht ukrainischer Nation. Auch die nötige Opferbereitschaft für die Befreiung bzw. Wiedergeburt als ein endlich (russen-)freies, im europäischen Westen vollständig ‚verankertes‘ Volk steht für die Leitungsebene nach wie vor fest. Zur aktuellen Kriegslage steht dieser ehrgeizige Anspruch freilich in einem denkbar eklatanten Missverhältnis.
